Prof. Eunice Maia de Andrade, Ph.D. | Lattes
Graduated in Agronomy at the Universidade Federal do Ceará (UFC) (1985), with a Master’s in Agronomy in the area of Irrigation and Drainage by th Universidade Federal do Ceará (UFC) (1988), Ph.D. in Renewable Natural Resources by the University of Arizona (1997) and a post doctorate internship by the Universidad de Valladolid (2012). Currently is a Retired Professor of the Universidade Federal do Ceará. Has experience in Watershed Management and Hydrological Regimes of Semiarid Regions. Pursues research in water and soil conservation, focusing on the following topics: Hydrology of Semiarid Regions, Sustainability of the Natural Capital, Water Quality, Soil and Water Conservation in the Semiarid, Carbon Stock in the Caatinga. Published 102 articles in indexed journals, national and international, and 313 complete articles and expanded abstracts in national and international events. Has advised 54 Science Initiation scholarship students, 34 master’s dissertations and 10 Ph.D. thesis. Currently advises 4 undergraduate students, 4 master’s students, 2 Ph.D. students and supervises one post doctorate internship. Has a CNPq Research Productivity Scholarship – Level 1A.
